Radioactive

Hello!

Today I was supposed to wake up at 11, but guess what? My dad woke me up at 1pm... Mission failed. But it's okay, I wasn't supposed to do anything important, so I'm fine.

I'm in need of watching Scott Pilgrim vs the World... It came on TV yesterday, but I thought it was Thursday and missed it... Just my luck. I also missed Prestige... Oh, well, they'll come again. And I have Scott Pilgrim on DVD, so I can watch it any time I want >:D

Today's song will be 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. I recently (two days ago) got suggested to listen to Imagine Dragons (love the name by the way) by a nerdfighter in the Our Pants forum. I'm positively surprised by how much I love this song. I'm listening to it right now, so you should too:

That'll be all for today. Have a good continue of your life!!

Christmas is over....

Hello!!

And if you haven't realized it yet, Christmas is over, and left is only the food and feels.

But fret not, it is still some days left of the holidays!!

I got pretty good gifts this year (and yes, I know it isn't the most important about Christmas, but I'm still very excited.). I got:

  • A Sony Walkman (it flashes in beat with the music o.O high-tech)
  • Muse's 2nd Law cd (Wieeee!!)
  • A book about Muse (in Finnish... but I can look at the pictures.)
  • Many plates
  • A couple of cups
  • CHOCOLATE!!
  • a bit of money
  • The Sims 3 games
  • candles
It was a really nice Christmas, I ate a lot, and I really love foood ^^

My day-rhytm is totally screwed, I woke up at 2 pm today, and it's pst midnight now, and it feels like it would be 6 pm. I'm screwed when school starts.

But I can't think of anything else to say now, so I'll just move along to today's song.

Today's song will be 'Good Morning Sunshine' by Alex Day (aka nerimon), because I've been listening to it all day. It's so joyfull and happy... And the video has many youtubers in it ;)

That'll be all for today :) Have a good morning/day/evening/night where-ever you are :)

My Christmas list

Hello!

I now officially have Christmas break!! No school for two weeks!!

Also the Christmas celebration at school was hilarious. A lot of scetches and music was performed, and it was really lovely and funny :)

It's Christmas soon. I have a few presents to wrap, then I'll be done :)

365Nerds is beginning soon. And I'm up on the 14th of January... I'm very nervous, I haven't made a video on my own before, so this'll be interesting.

Today's song will be 'My Christmas List' by Simple Plan, because Christmas and Simple Plan. But it really is good. The lyrics are quite funny actually.

That'll be all for today, BYEE!! <33

P4A and Hipster Santa

Hello!

Christmas is nearing... I have to pack my gifts soon. Was going to do it today, so this will only be a short one.

I'll be performing at our school's Christmas celebration. It will be a lot of Christmas songs mashed in one, with a surprising edge ;) I've been a bit ill for these past couple of days, so I haven't been able to sing so much, but I'm getting better now, hopefully I'll be restored on Friday :)

I've been working on my physics lab-raport a couple of days, and it's finally ready!! (sort of) It's not the best, but I'm happy as long as I'm not failed.

I've been watching the Project for Awesome livestream, featuring John and Hank Green (vlogbrothers), Charlie McDonnell (charlieissocoollike) among others. The livestream is now over, but it was amazing, and they got over 440 000 dollars to give to charlity.

Today's song will be 'Hipster Santa', a musical by AVbyte, that I discovered today. It's quite nice actually, so check it out.

That'll be all :) BYEE!!! <33

Christmas song Masterpost!!

And it's time for another masterpost by this girl... This time the theme is Christmas songs!!

I've always had a soft spot for Christmas and Christmas songs. So I thought I might as well share some of my favorite songs to listen to at Christmas.

Train - Shake Up Christmas

This song was featured in a Coke ad, and it's pretty happy. I really like this song, it makes me happy and giddy and stuff.

Weezer - The Christmas Song

Now this song is more depressive, but I like it too... it is Weezer.

Coldplay - Christmas Lights

This song started playing in a shoestore last week when I was shopping. And it's funny, because I don't think I've heard it in the rado before, only online and at home. But this song is really nice and beautiful and I like Coldplay really much (if you didn't know...)

Futurama

Yes... I like Futurama's X-mas songs, they are really funny and creative. My sister and I always sing this song when we have very much Christmas spirit.

Then this:

The Killers

The Killers usually make a Christmas song every year, and I think I posted Don't Shoot Me Santa earlier. So this is this year's Christmas song by The Killers. It's the same Santa as in DSMS, and I only discovered it today, but I already like it. Here you go; I Feel It In My Bones.

Mika - Let it Snow

This version of Let it Snow is really relaxing, and I really like the guitar in it, and Mika is awesome as ever. (Dedicated to my friend the Patster).

Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out

This song is very ironic. But I still like how happy it seems if you don't listen to the lyrics. But the lyrics are maybe even hateful... O.o But it's still a nice song!

I think that'll be enough Christmas for now...

***

I have nothing to add... I've been making gingerbread?

I made a playlist with some of the songs above and a couple more on 8tracks. You could check it out here.

Otherwise... BYEE!!! <33

Christmas soon

Hello!

Quick one before I go to sleep ;)

Today I went Christmas shopping, and I actually bought presents!! 10 Christmas points to me!! But I'm not going to say what I bought if any of them read this >.> But I also got myself a army-green jumper and a delicious hamburger. Day well spent!!

I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit. School ends on Friday, and then I have a two week holiday. I think I'm spending Christmas at my uncle's with my family and some closer realtives. It'll be fun, I'm sure.

Oh, and yesterday (or rather, the day before that) I bought tickets to Muse's gig in July. So yes, I'm going xD But they are really good, so at least now I know it's worth it!

I also want to see other bands, but haven't found anyone I'd like to go to for a while. Have to roam the internet when I've got money.

Today's (or tonight's) song will be 'We Used to Vacation' by Cold War Kids. It's one of my more indie-styled favorites now. Enjoy!

But I am hopping to bed now, I'll see you some other time ;) Night!! <33

Muse masterpost!!

Hello!

Yesterday I saw Muse live in Helsinki, and I have to say it was truly amazing! :DD The show was spectacular, and they had lots of different light effects, and elevators bringing up new instruments. Their instruments had lights on them, and some screens were put up in the ceiling, and they were moving. I'm amazed.

They had screens almost everywhere. It was all lit up and wonderful. (also sorry for bad quality, my phone has a bad camera.) This song was Animals.

Example of a instrument with lights. The part of the piano that's pointing up, was see-through. They had a lot of light effects, as I said before. I have to say this was the most spectacular show I've ever seen. This song was Explorers.

The best shot I have from the stage. It was in Hartwall Areena, and even though we had pretty good sitplaces, this is probably the best photo I have. They played Madness here, as you might see from one of the screens. The screen sometimes showed bits of lyrics, so you could sing along without making a fool of yourself ;)

This photo is from the first encore (they are so cool, that they have two). The screens (as seen in above pictures) moved down and formed a pyramid, and the members of the band were under it, and then sometime while The 2nd Law: Isolated System (this exact video) was playing, they went under the stage and re-emerged back on stage after a couple of minutes after it was done (to build the tension).

----> Setlist

Matthew Bellamy broke his foot a short while ago, but you couldn't really see any damage. He walked around like it was nothing, and didn't even say anything about it.

I also got a shirt! Might post it later, if I so choose ;)

This gig was amazing, and I'm still in my concer-high. I want to see them again, they were really good. They are coming again this summer, I might go ;) Anyone who wants to buy me tickets? No? Okay...

******

Today school seemed horrible, I had nine hours again, and I'm really tired now, I should go to sleep soon... But first I should do some homework...

We have a huge amount of snow here, it's just plain awful... I'll trade this snow for some chocolate, so if you are interested, please tell me ;)

I'll see the Hobbit tomorrow with a couple of friends :D It's going to be super!  Trailer:

Today's song are a little bit of everywhere, I've putted a few links, and the setlist has videos from all the songs they played :)

Well that'll be all for today, see you some other time!!! <33

Muse tomorrow

Hello!

Today I made our gingerbread house with help from my mother. It failed a bit, but it looks okay. (Pic on my other blog.)

Yesterday I went shopping. I was going to buy some Christmas gifts, but only got some for my father... Well that plan failed. I got myself a sweater, a top, a t-shirt, two pair of mittens and a pair of winter shoes, so it wasn't just for nothing. I'm also looking for a camera for after Christmas, but I'll see...

Tomorrow I'll see Muse!!!! I'm so excited!! I'm listening to their new album now (which I have yet to buy... feeling less of a fan now...) and it is awesome :D Matthew Bellamy still has his foot broken, but still wants to continue. That is a true man! Sticking up for his fans. Many wouldn't go to theirr regular job with a broken foot, so what he does is amazing. Hope he's not in very much pain...

Because I can't come up with anymore to say...

Today's song will be 'Liquid State' by Muse (Yes, more Muse). It's sung by their bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, and it's about his alcohol-problems... But it's good anyway, so ENJOY!!

See you some other time!! BYEE!!! <333

Ginger

Hello!!!!!!!!

Today is Finland's independence day, so I spent it at home. So I woke up at 12... Not so great, because I still have school tomorrow.

I made this year's gingerbread house design, we will have to try it soon ;) I was also disappointed in my advent calendar, I didn't get candy, but a toy... I don't want toys, I want candyyy!!!

I also dyed my hair. I'm extra ginger now.

Today's song will be 'Elvis Ain't Dead' by Scouting For Girls. I love this song, and I occasionly just listen to it to brighten my mood. ENJOY!

Short one today, but I'll be back!

BYEE!!! <33

Jack Frost

Haaaai!!

I went ot the cinema today! :D I watched The Rise of the Guardians with a couple of friends. It was in Swedish, but it didn't matter, it was good anyways :) Amazing, really. The movie mixed all different holiday characters pretty good, this girl's impressed! Trailer, if you want ;) (Jack Frost is an interesting person. I WANT A SEQUEL!)

I've had Hipster Disney Princesses in my head all day... A f@*#ing hipster...

I don't have to go to school tomorrow ^^ I'm so happy, I can spend all night at my computer, and no early morning, and no school...

Today's song will be 'A White Demon Love Song' by The Killers. It's a lovely song, and I like the way they sing in it.

That's all for today (tonight?), I'll see you guys some other time. BYEE!!! <333

Random Rambling about: Nothing really

E-yo!

I spent 9 and a half hours at school today. I'm really tired, I should just go to sleep....

But not before some random rambling for no reason at all!!!!!

Wooo!!

(Sorry, my brain is going haywire...)

I have a free day on Thursday :D That's because it is Finland's independence day, so all stores are closed, and we get a free day from school. This year it's 95 years since we got independence. *Finnish lecture over*

I've spent more time in Our Pants, and I seem to be addicted to the site...

Oh, and somebody told me that she stalked my blog, but now I'm not sure which one she meant. But, hi there! *waves* Hope you enjoy your staying! And if you tell people you're stalking them, it isn't really stalking ;) (Or I think so... never mind me!)

It's Christmas soon, if you didn't know! I getting in the spirit by eaten tons of gingerbread and listening to a fair amount of Christmas music. I also have two advent calendars ^^ one with chocolate, and one Haribo. A reason to eat a little sweets without feeling to guilty ;)

I'm going to look like a stuffed turkey after Christmas... *sigh* Should really cut down on the food. (But it's so good...)

This period in school I almost only have languages, so lots of words and expressions and stuff... I'm going to become very confused when trying to separate the different languages...

This post is very random I noticed... Hope nobody minds...

Today's song will be 'Hipster Disney Princess - The Musical'. It's from a channel on Youtube that makes at least one musical per week. They have musicals about almost anything, and they are really awesome :D Check 'em out!

I might have gotten addicted to their musicals now too... (But at least not another 2nd law spam)

But I think that'll be enough for today. I should get some sleep soon, before I get too random...

Mr Crepsley

Hey!

Today I got 'Brothers to the Death', the fourth and final book in the Larten Crepsley Saga by Darren Shan. I haven't dared open it ye, I'm afraid I'll read it too fast. He's a really good author, mr Shan, he has written many good books. Adly they all don't come to Finland, so you mostly have to order them online. Mr Crepsley was (is) my favourite character in the Saga of Darren Shan.

I had a quite normal day in school today, not many serious subjects.

I shall soon open this book, but first...

Today's song is.... *drumroll*

'Follow Me' by Muse. (Yes, I'm continuing with 2nd Law.) It's a nice song, and I haven't heard anything about if they are canceling in Helsinki yet. So Yaaaaaay!!!

Did you notice that I changed the links to videos? :D I think it looks better with videos, so I'm going to change this when I'm at my computer. I should name my computer too, it must feel left out when I've named both my tablet and my phone... (they are named Tabitha and Giovannie, if yoiu weren't aware.)

But I guess that's it for today...

Le deux Decembre

Hello!

Yesterday was little Christmas (maybe you don't have it, but we kind of celebrate it here. It's not a big thing.), so happy belated little Christmas.

Also, it's December now, time for the advent calendars, because it's Christmas soon!!

Today I had a photoshoot at my dance "academy". I had fake eyelashes and lots of eyeliner, and was dressed in all black, except a yellow top. We waited for about one and a half hour before it was our time to be photographed, and the picture taking itself took only a couple of minutes. It was okay, I'm still not sure why I was chosen to be in it, but it was fun.

I also signed up for 365Nerds, a project where one person makes a vlog per day, only it's a different person each day. So now we'll see how this goes... I don't know when or what I'm going to film, but I hope it'll be fun. Like I said before, I'd like to try vlogging, but I don't know if I have the material to do so. It might work up my confidence.

I'm also trying to be more creative, so I think I'll be updating my other blog a bit more...

Today's song will be 'Don't Shoot Me Santa Claus' by The Killers, just to get the Christmas spirit ;) (actually I've had Chrstmas spirit for a long time, so it really doesn't matter for me...) Enjoy!!

Maybe I should put a Christmas song everyday until Christmas? I don't know, but there will be more of them, trust me!

Thank you and goodnight!!! <33

Panic?

Ciao!!

Today our school had a dinner party in honor of our country's national day, 6.12. I t was nice and fun, I think I'll go next year as well :)

Muse has cancelled their show in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmö, because Matthew Bellamy broke his foot. I really hope he get's better, because I really want to see them, I've been waiting half a year for this. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm really lazy right now, so I'll just put the song.

Today's song will be 'Panic Room' by Muse. I still plan to go to their concert, I really hope it won't get cancelled. I really like this song, their new album is great! I need to get it on cd now.

Oh! I've also started wondering if I should start making vlogs (video blogs, for those who don't know). I have a channel on Youtube, but it's mostly for liking videos and such. But I'm in need of a better camera in that case, and maybe some better software for editing. But I also feel like I don't want to do it alone... *sigh* I'll just have to think about it...

Anyboo, that will be all for today! Byee!!! <33

Testweek over!!!

Ola!

TESTWEEK IS OVER!!!!!

Well, actually the day before yesterday, but I was too lazy to post >.>

Testweek went well, got okay grades, I don't think I'll rewrite any tests.

I also went to speak to the principle about getting a course for Kulturkarnevalen, but he said I have to do a project or something to fill up the hours that needs to be done to get a course. So my music-teacher have to come up with something that I can do. (I hope it's not this period, I have no gap hours :'( ) But she doesn't have much time to plan anything individually for me, so we'll see when I do the project.

I'm also spending a ridiculous time in Our Pants. TIME WELL SPENT! DFTBA!!!!

I shall try to post quite regularly, seeing as all my hobbies are ending for the holidays (which is almost a month away.) So you might read me here more often! (If anyone does that, I'm not sure... Hello?)

Today's song will be 'Supremacy' by Muse. Because guys... It is less than two weeks until they are here in Helsinki!! I'm so Finnicking excited!

I should get the CD...

But here it is: SUPREMACY

Someone commented on Youtube that it should have become a Bond song... I agree.

Well, that's all we got here on singinginmyroom, I'll see you guys soon! (Or I won't see you, but you get my point!)

Spoon

Hello!

Testweek is almost over - only one test left! Unless I fail one, and have to re-write it... But let's not think about that.

Speaking of testweek, I should start reading... A quick post first.

I went shopping yesterday. It was kind of spontaneous (or how the hell you spell it), since I just told my mother that we need to get shopping someday, and she said 'Let's go now'. So we went for a quick shopping at Iso Omena. I bought make up, and also got a movie. But I tried to find a black sweater, but no store had one that I wanted. I guess I was a little too critical on them... But it had to match my neon-yellow trousers.

I recently discovered 8tracks. It's a site where you can listen to other people's playlists, and perhaps make your own. And yes, now I'm addicted to that page and am listening to it now. But it better than Youtube on my tablet, because you can do other stuff on the tablet while you are listening, instead of just watching videos when you are on Youtube. But it's only music on 8tracks, no videos.

I also updated my second blog, it looks nicer now. I also posted some drawings.

Today's song will be 'The Way We Get By' by Spoon. (Yes, I discovered it on 8tracks.) But it is a nice song, and it feels good. I've become a little more indie lately.

Just a way to show off my variating taste in music. Apparently it was in OC too.

But now I really should start reading French or I'll never learn anything. Je ne peux pas. The things I do instead of testreading <3

But yes, back to the book.... Byeee!!! <33

Cinemas and dubbing

Eyup!

Testweek is almost over, still have two more tests left, but I think I'll manage ;)

I've got pretty good grades so far, I'm really proud of myself  *pats myself on the shoulder* Nah, but as long as I don't fail a course I'm really happy. For my parents it's another thing... They have this preassure on me to get good grades an everything, and sometimes, I just don't want to care about stuff like that. I want to care about other things, not have my entire life spinning around school.

Anyways, I don't want to go further into that, it'll just make me depressed.

I'm getting a new mattress on Thursday ^^ I'm finally getting rid of my squeaky, old thing in favor of a new better one.

Also, I was planning on watching this movie 'Hotel Transylvenia' (I know, it's very childish, but I really like children's movies... Sue me!!), but they decided not to show the original version of it here in Finland, only dubbed into Finnish or Swedish. Why would they do that? Not everybody wants to see movies dubbed! I wanted to see the original, because then you'll really see who the animations were built from. The same goes for non-animated movies, I rarely watch a movie that is dubbed, because it feels wrong.

I guess I have a fobia for that..

But they did the same with Brave! I was so angry, they only played it in Helsinki, and of course only in times I couldn't see it. And now with 'Hotel Transylvenia'? *bangs head on desk*

Anyways, I wonder what's up with 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' here in Finland, it never seems to come here. It said on a page that it would have premiere November 2nd, but it still isn't here. I'm sad because I was really looking forward to that movie. *Be agrressive, PASSIVE aggressive*

I think I should just put a song now... Let's see what I haven't posted yet...

Today's song will be 'Nothing To Lose' by Billy Talent. Because I'm not feeling to good now, and it's a good song, and it's Billy Talent. Here you go:

(I really hate when I have to put those links... maybe I should just go and change them...)

BTW, IT IS LESS THAN A FINNICKING YEAR UNTIL CATCHING FIRE COMES OUT!!! Provided that we of course escape the apocalypse, but that'll be easy, right? Right?

But yes, that will be all for now. Good night, if you are going to sleep, have a good day for those who aren't, and I'll see you some time.

Bye!!! <33

Testweek Procrastination

Hey!

So I'm on my second testweek, and I'm halfway through. I've written four tests, and have two left. But they are next week, so I can finally breath from all the reading-stress.

I have realized that I procrastinate a bit too much, perhaps. Like this period in school I said to myself that I would start reading earlier than last testweek, but did I? No. I still started reading tyhe day before. And when I read, I often get distracted by stuff. Like my tablet, or the tv, or the cats, or food, and it's just horrible.

But enough of that, more interesting stuff ahead. (I hope...)

Last week our school did the music show, and it went great! We sung the lyrics correct, and nobody were in a bad mood.

I also got picked to be in a photoshoot for my dance-school's springshow. I don't know why she picked me to be in it, but I'm not alone (thank god!).

Today's song will be 'Dance on our Graves' by Paper Route. I like this song, it has nice lyrics and it grows beautyfully.

That will be all for today, I think I'll sleep a little when I gert home from school. Might watch a little Vampire Diaries as well ;)

Hello!

Right now I'm sitting in my school's "auditorium" and have nothing to do. The school is having a concert on Thursday, and I'm singing a couple of songs with my group. My group are playing country this time, 'Every Little Thing' and 'Nine To Five' to be more precise. Everybody is really good at these rehearsals, a little more training, and it'll be perfect :)

So this is my 42nd post. As you may or may not know, 42 is the meaning of life. If you don't know, I haven't ranted about this enough...

For those who doesn't know:

A long long time ago, there were some people who were very smart, and they were wondering what the meaning of life was. So they built a computer to calculate the answer. The computer (called Deap Thought) told them to give itsome time, and come back in a million years.

So the people came back a million years later, and the computer gave them the answer: 42. The people weren't happy with that answer, but tyhe computer explained that they hadn't given it a proper question, so it built them another computer to calculate the question for them.

That computer was called Earth, and unfortunatly, it got blown up just before it was ready.

A little background story! I'm pretty sure it's not like it should be, I missed a couple of details, but for the real story, read The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - series. They are really good, so hop hop!

In honor of my 42nd post, here is '42' by Coldplay.

That's all folks! Bye!! <33

Kulturkarnevalen 2012

Hiya!

Just a quick note before I go to sleep :)

This weekend I was at 'Kulturkarnevalen'. This is an event for teenagers in Swedish speaking Finland. This year it was arranged at my school, so it wasn't as refreshing as the other 2 years I've gone. It almost seemed like I spent the weekend at school.... But anyhow, it was really awesome and fun!!

I had a lab called Indie Rock, so I played some music. First we did 'Wonderful' by Gary Go, and I had to play keyboard. I had said to the lableader (it sounds like he was a mad professor... he was really cool) that I had tried the piano, so he said that I would learn by playing. So first I had two chords. Then he added one other. And then another. Then another AND he gave me another keyboard. And when I had gotten into that, he added an microphone and told me to sing background vocals. So there I was, never played a serious song on piano/keyboard, playing with both hands and singing in the background. I applaud you, lableader, not many people would force me into learning that much.

Song we played:

Then the lableader thought both groups were very good (thank you, thank you) so he gave us an assignment: to write our own song in the groups. So we started. Because noone really wanted to write the lyrics, we all wrote down a few lines and then without saying which lines where whose, we chose the ones that we liked the most. Then the bassplayes, guitarist and drummer started jamming to see what would be good, and the vocalists (including me) tried to get the lyrics to work with the music. May I remind you that we did this in two days, and had to perform on the second day with the song? The performance was pretty good. None of us got all the lyrics entirely correct, there was even a time when none of us remembered a part. The music had been recorded earlier, so all we did on stage was singing and dancing. There isn't a full version yet, and even if there was, I wouldn't put it here, because a person said they didn't want to be online for everyone to see, and I totally respect that.

But anyways, it was really fun, and I had a good time :)

Testweek is soon here again,. so I should be starting to read a little... *sigh*

That was longer than I expected.. oh well.

Today's song (because I don't count the first one) will be: 'Friends With My Sister' by Now Now Every Children. This is a very beautyful song, and I almost cry everytime I hear it. I've seen them live, they were the warm-ups for Paramore, and this band was pretty good live, even though I hadn't really heard them before. Enjoy!

Now I really need to sleep.... NIghty night!!! *waves* ^^

Saturday, November 3

Halloween (a bit too late...)

Horrible Halloween!

I usually say this, because happy Halloween doesn't really work... I mean you are supposed to be scared at Halloween, not happy.

It's saturday, and here in Finland today is all hallow's day, or whatever it is called in English, I haven't really done my homework in that area... But anyway, it's the day where you remember those who have died, and perhaps you lit a candle for them. And all the stores are closed, as it's a red day in the calendar.

On Monday, I will be filmed for tv, because apparantly I agreed to be interviewed.... They are doing a reportage about the tablets we got and how/if we use them, how often, for the right reasons and was it even necessary to get those. So I am a bit nervous...

Today's song will be 'A Gorey Demise' by Creature Feature, just to get into the Halloween spirit.

Peace out!

Monday, October 29

Skyfall

Ello!

So I saw the new Bond movie last weekend, and it was really good! :D I can say it was the greatest Bond movie I've seen, in my opinion at least. My favorites were the villain and then Q, they were the best!

So today's song will be 'Skyfall' by Adele.

So I guess that's it...

Byeee!! <333 *blows kisses*

Tuesday rocked!!

Hiya!

Just a quick note before I go to sleep.

On Tuesday I went to see Billy Talent in Helsinki, and it was AMAZING!! The feeling was great, and the rocked the stage. They played a lot of good songs, but I was disappointed that they didn't play 'Sudden Movements' and 'Show Me The Way', but you can't have everything.

Me and my friend who came with me got great places; we were on the second row! We saw pretty much everything happening on stage.

While the warm up band was playing, my friend saw somebody standing behind a pillar beside the stage, and turns out it was Ian, the guitarist! I think he was trying to hide, but we saw you!!!

I bought a shirt, like I always do on concerts. I also filmed a little, but the sound didn't turn out good at all. But if anyone wants to see, I could post some. Comment if you want to see!

I won't put a song today, because I can't choose, plus I'm writing this with Tabitha...

So that'll be it for today/tonight! Byeee <33

Lot's of Songs and reasons why

Heya!

So I haven't been here for a while because I've been busy with other stuff, and also been very very lazy... BUT! I'm going to make an extra long post today, because we have fall break, or whatever it's called in English, so my family and I are going to Copenhagen, Denmark. Wave if you see me!!

Today I'll put lots of weird and random songs to celebrate my short holiday.

So the first one will be: 'Everybody Wants To Be An Astronaut' by Royal Republic. This song is amazing and stays in my head for a long time when I listen to it. This band is really really good, and I wish they would come here to Finland, so I could see them play :3

Second: 'Freaking Me Out' by Simple Plan ft. Alex Gaskarth. I don't know how I haven't heard this song before my British friend showed me it. I love it, simply put. Simple Plan is by the way AWESOME live!!! I saw them last April and it was the best concert I've been to so far :D

Third: 'DFTBA' by Hank Green just to show that I'm a Nerdfighter. The song is playing with initialisms from DFTBA, which originally stands for Don't Forget To Be Awesome :D Take it away Hank!

Fourth: 'Spazzmatica Polka' by Kevin McLeoad because I've been watching too much danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil... litteraly...

And last but not least: 'Show Me The Way' by Billy Talent, because their gig is on Tuesday :O :DD I'm so excited ^^

Yeah, I think that'll do.

Anyways, I hope I'll see you soon and behave and save some cupcakes for me. DFTBA, and BYEEE!!! <33

Sorry?

Somehow I haven't been able to post here for a while...

Testweek went quite good, if anybody was interested... No? Anyone? Okay...

Because I should get some beauty sleep, I'm just going to put today's song.

Today's song will be 'Can't Forget You' by My Darkest Days. It was actually my friend who showed me this band, and they are quite good. This is the acoustic version.

Well goodnight for me, and hopefully I'll see you again one day. BYEE!!! <33

Post against all odds

Hello!

As you may or may not know, I'm currently having my very first testweek. And as much as I hate tests, it has gone pretty good so far. Half my tests are left, and I even got one out. And it was nearly full points! Scooore!! I'm more nervous for my next test tomorrow; psychology. I don't know so much, and I'm happy as long as I pass the course. And that's why I'm writing this.... Just to keep me from stressing out totally. I'm crossing my fingers for this!

I saw Brave this weekend, and it was AWESOME!! I mean it, if you like children's movies with both action and humour, then you'll love this! I know because I like children's movies....

Any boo, I think I'll skip to the music part now...

Today's song will be 'Stars Align' by Mike Thompkins, because I've listening to it today and I like it and his voice (he's only using his voice in this song, and that's pretty awesome.)

Tabitha didn't want to work with Youtube -.- *edited on computer*

But yeah, that'll be it for today, see ya!

NEWSFLASH!!!!!

(You've probably already heard this, or aren't as excited as me, but I don't care...)

There is going to be a Kick-Ass sequel, and I really liked the first one, so now I'm hoping even more that the world isn't destroyed in December....

And!

Jim Carrey is going to be in it!!! He's probably my favorite actor, so I have big hopes for this film! :D

Small rant over. Sorry for fangirling

Testweek is upon me

Hello!

Just thought I would post something... Haven't been here in a while, too much school -.-

Test-week started today, so I should be studying right now... Still have 5 tests to go.

I haven't had a chance of putting any music here for a while so I thought I would spare my apolo-rambling and just post a few songs. You're welcome.

First song: 'Garbage Truck' by Sex Bob-omb (from Scott Pilgrim, but still like it.) I've started listening to the soundtrack again, and thought about watching the movie again, but have to study...

Second song: 'Love was still around' by Billy Talent. I love this band. I got tickets to their gig in Helsinki in a month, so I'm pretty excited :D

Third song: 'Starlight' by Muse. Because their gig in Helsinki is also getting closer (Boo-yah!) And I played this as my favorite at music-class a couple of weeks ago. At least the exchanged student liked it. But he also liked my worse song.... Weird kid.

That'll be enough for now, still have to study a bit. -.-

I don't even know if anybody reads this... But I'll just blog for my own good then. Still have the unicorns <33

Well BYEE!!! :*

No song...

Hey guys!

Sorry if it takes ages to post anything here, but testweek is coming up, and I haven't really studied.... I read half my psychology book today though...

And I'm having problems writing this on my tablet/paddie thingy so this will be very short.  (I named it 'Tabitha' by the way. You know tablet - Tabitha? :D no? okay...)

I can't get a video here, so this will be a post without a song... *cries in the corner*

I've started watching 'danisnotonfire' and 'AmazingPhil' on Youtube lately (you know, anything to not study for tests) and they are hilarious! :D Check them out if you want to, I can't link or anything but yeah....

Guess I'll go then. BYEEEE!! *waves* <333

Ramble

Hello!

So I've realized I haven't been posting for a while... And I'm really sorry, if there is anybody reading this, I don't know... A comment would make my day ^^

I've been caught up in school, so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to post every day... My hobbies also started so I have less time than ever... I'm also very lazy, that could be a problem...

I also need a song to play for my guitar classes; my guitar-teacher is really nice and talented and he lets me choose what song to play for myself :) So I need advice...

Should I take Coldplay?

Or Billy Talent? (They are quite hard, but I can try...)

Or Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars

Or Something else?

Tell me what you think!

They might be hard to play, but my teacher thinks I can do it, when I don't...

I might go to Billy Talent's concert in October!! :D I really want to, but I have to get my friend to convince her parents to come with me.And then ofc I don't know where the place is where they're playing... but I'll find it later.

They are by the way realeasing a new album today. It's called Dead Silence, and it's really really good :D Have to post more songs by them...

The reson I'm a little disappointed in their choise of album name is that they a few years ago, when they released III, they said they'd keep with the numbers ( the other's are I, II and III). And Ben joked that they would name it V, and then everybody would wonder where IV was. That was a nice interview *sigh*

Misfits is on today... Have to record it.

Today's song will be 'Back in Time' by Pitbull. Maybe not what I usually listen to, but I sang it all day yesterday... (IT'S IN MEN IN BLACK 3!!!) But anyways... ENJOY!! :DDD

So that'll be it for today. I'd like to thank all of you reading this. Remember: you are beautiful!! Good Bye and I'll see you an other day :) *waves* <33

Anybody watched "Chess" and can explain it to me? No?

Hello.

Today I was supposed to be writing my presentation about the musical 'Chess', but I can't seem to concentrate... So I started to do all kinds of other stuff. So, have like anybody seen it? Because we don't have to watch the musicals we're presentating, so I'm not cheating!

I'm going to keep it short, have to go sleeping soon.

I'm getting my paddie tomorrow *happy dance*

Today's song will be 'I'm no Superman' by Lazlo Bane. (It's Scrubs' themesong!!) It's a really good song, and it kind of calms me down. So here it is:

Well, I'm heading to bed now...

Goodnight!! <33

Saturday, September 1

Chill Saturday, if you were wondering

Hello!

Not much to say today...

We got a new kitten! :D She's really cute and adorable. And small. The other cats doesn't really like her though :/

I'm getting my paddie on Tuesday! :D I'm so excited!

A friend of mine stayed overnight yesterday. We had fun, and I conviced her that Glee is a good show. Progress.

Today' song will be 'Blonde on Blonde' by Nada Surf. (no, it's not dirty, you pervs!) I heard it in a movie, and it stuck, so I listen to it at times. It's really beautiful, and I have been able to play it on my guitar. I should start practising again ...:/ But anyboo, ENJOY!

That's all for today. I'm going to eat chocolate now <33 BYE!!! :D *waves*

Thursday, August 30

I WANT CANDY!!

Hello hello hello!! *count Olaf-styled*

It's been a while, but I had an overnight-thingy with the school, and I got home yesterday and fell asleep on the couch. Then I had to get up and get to dance-class.

I might get my paddie next week! :D

I also have my musical-presentation next week.... Fuuuu
--> If you have Pottermore, add me!! SkyBlade3276
I'm eating candy and I feel very unhealthy :/ I really should stop... Just one more bite....

So I thought I'd just round it up and go for the song.

Today's song will be 'Sweet Transvestite' from Glee with Mercedes singing ^^ Not a good song to sing in public though, people... Anyways, ENJOI!

I was going to have 'Don't Panic', but then I realized I already had had it... Oh well...

That's it for today I think. So Good bye, I will for once not go to sleep now. It's still just evening ;)

Bye Bye <33

P.S. Apparently we're getting a kitten tomorrow... Oh well, they are cute ^^

I can Change?

Hello!

I'm going to keep it short today.

I went shopping today. Got myself a new pair of shoes and some eyeliner. And that's pretty much it :/ I'm not a very good shopper.

Today's song will be 'I Can Change' by LCD Soundsystem. I heard it in a shop today, and it stuck. (At least it's not like another song I heard in a shop... But that's another story!) So here it is!!

That's all for today, sorry for being short :/

But that's all I have to say, so see ya soon!! *sends flying kisses* BYE!! <33

Thursday, August 23

Oh Rainy Day come out

Hey!!

Today I'm keeping it short.

I have to find a new song to hate, since my friend took the one I was suppose to present as my least favorite :/ So now I've got to find a song I like and a song I hate...

Today was otherwise okay, a little bit to rainy, I had to drive to school in the rain :'(

So today's song will be 'Rainy Day' by Coldplay. It's a lovely song about rain, and it's really beautiful. I sing it every time it rains. I could mayhaps play this as my favorite... Mayhaps ;) ENJOY!!

That's all folks!! THanks for watching/reading/snooping around or whatever you're doing! :D

See ya!! <33

Surprise Surprise

'Ello!!

I think I won't say so much today. I have to choose a headline to write an essay on. It is supposed to be in next week. It's the second week in this school, and already an essay!! Man, that's crazy :/ Better get writing then! Oh, and it's to be written by hand... Urgh!!

Anyways, I have a full day tomorrow, from 8 to a little past 15. Well, almost full day, full days are from 8 to 15.35...

I have two weeks to find my favorite song. I have found something that could be close ;)

And that will be today's song!! :D 'Surprise Surprise' by Billy Talent!! I'm telling you, they keep getting better and better. And that's not easy, all their stuff is great! I still regret not whining to my parents to go see them this summer... But it was far away on a festival, so they wouldn't let me :/

But anyways, here it is: the new song by the awesome band Billy Talent: SURPRISE SURPRISE!!

I realized I haven't posted any songs by them at all :O I'm going to start from this moment on. They are amazing after all.

Any boo, back to last minute homework and soon-enough-sleep.

Bye bye, nighty night and all that! :D

SEE YA!!! <33

Monday, August 20

Lion King Madness??? xDD Just kidding...

Hiya!

So this is what I do when I should read my psychology homework... Sorry Mom!!

I'm not going to write much today, have to read read read read... So much stress in upper secondary school -.-
(The exchange student from America had Art with me today, and I drew a Mockingjay to my cover, and he asked if he should call me Katniss, and I said that I'm more of a Peeta (my HG name). My friend laughed at us.)<---
So today's songs (because I can't choose!) are

1:       'Hakuna Matata'. I watched it today because a friend linked it to me. It's a good, funny song from the amazing movie 'the Lion King'. One of the best Disney-movies in this world! :D
So Enjoy!!!

2:       'Madness' by Muse. NEW SONG, EVERYBODY!!! It's kind of different from their earlier ones, but hey, it's Muse, they change a lot over the years. Thirteen years since the first album. New one coming up. They sure have been here many years, and are still going strong! :D So here it is:

That's all I have for today, have to go read Psychology ;) (btw, how is it spelled? I have no idea and am too lazy to Google Translate xD)

Yeah... So BYE BYE!!! *sends air-kisses*

Some Hunger Games related stuff today

Hello!!

I saw the Hunger Games for the first time on DVD yesterday. It was amazing as usual. Did I mention that I saw it twice in cinema? Well, nerdy as I am, I did. :D

Still over a year to Catching Fire... A long long time until it's here. Maybe we never even get to see it? If the world really ends in December? At least I got to see Muse...

BUT I HAVE TO SEE FINNICK BEFORE I DIE!!!  know I'm not the greatest fan fot Sam Claflin as Finnick, but I'm sure he'll surprise me positively on screen.  I have big expectations for you, mister!!!

I thought I'd do something different today. I have recently realized that I have loads of covers and parodys on my ancient mp3-player. And I'm not ashamed no. I really like covers and parodys often, that's why I have them there.

But I've also realized that I have three Britney Spears covers/parodys, but none by the singer herself. Huh.

So today, my fellow friends, I will present to you the three Britney covers.

Number 1: Womanizer

This cover is from the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand (thanks to who I got a grade better in history for knowing their name). I've had it for a while, and still I listen to it every time it shows up on my playlist. They are otherwise also a pretty good band.

Number 2: Toxic

This cover is made by Mark Ronson featuring Tiggers. Mark Ronson is also from the UK, and he is not singing in this song. In fact he rarely sings in his songs, he has other people doing it. But he still makes good music, so that's why I listen to him. (I could also mention that Glee did a version of this song in Britney/Brittany along with other Britney Spears songs, but I don't have them... I have the entire season 2 though >:) )

Number 3: I Wanna Go

This is a parody. It's a Hunger Games parody. Starring Gale and Peeta trying to win Katniss over. It's quite funny, and me and a couple of my friends has an inside-thing with it (and I'm Peeta btw ;) I'm Peeta and I know it!!). Yeah, just watch it...

That's it for today for cover/parody presentations!! Maybe I should do it more often? I don't know, you decide! :D

Whoa, this is a long post! I think I'll leave now... I'll be back someday, hopefully tomorrow after school.

Well bye!!! <33 And remember:
