I'm a fooking Rocket Scientist

Hello!

I have a week long break now, so much sleeping for me ;)

I really should be working on some projects, but I'm being really lazy. I'm just being on the internet, listening to BBC Radio 1 and being on tumblr. Also having a poke-war on Facebook, being on Skype, checking if there are any new videos on Youtube, blogging, checking Twitter, etc etc... Internet is more of an effort than other people think.

Yesterday a friend came over. We ate pie and watched Glee. It was fun.

I also saw Headhunters yesterday. It was a pretty good movie. The only confusing part was a character who spoke Norwegian with a Dutch accent, and the movie only had Finnish subtitle... Norwegian I can handle, but with an accent.... I was confuzzled.

Today's song will be 'Rocket Scientist' by Teddybears feat. Eve. Because

(Click to play) (And yes, I made it.)
And I kind of like it. Also because I've been watching Misfits.

And that'll be all for today, you'll see me some other time.

Nightowl mode activated

Hello!

I'm getting bad at this posting thing...

So it is past midnight again, and I'm up as usual. Next week school is off for a break, so it'll be fun. We might  have that LOTR marathon, but we'll never know... Also I shall try to sleep enought for a month, and mayhaps read a little bit Finnish for the re-writing. I'm a bit of a procrastinator, if you haven't noticed...

I have an appointment at the hairdresser on Monday. I'm going to color my hair, I'm thinking red and purple ^^

But I should start going to sleep soon, my mother came in to my room, mad at me -.-

Today's song will be 'Stand Up And Run' by Billy Talent. This music video is amazing, the band is amazing, and this song kind of reminds me of someone...

And yes, now should be the time to retire to bed...

So good night, folks, or good morning, or good day, or whatever, I don't know where you all are from.

Sunday scribblings

Hello!

I've had quite a good weekend.

Yesterday I went shopping and later on a movie in the same building. I just bought a pair of trousers, a top and a sweatshirt, nothing really fancy.

I saw Silver Linings Playbook!! It was good, but a bit weird because I was with my sister and her boyfriend... But still good.

Today I went to a 60 year old birthday party. I hung ou with my cousins, it was okay.

I want to make a smoothie, but dad said I have to wait for my mother in case we have ice cream... *sigh*

Also, I've been meaning to start reading a book, but I can't seem to find time to do it...

But yes.

Today's song will be 'I Turn My Camera On' by Spoon. I love this song, it's quite simple, but the bass is lovely. Also I love the band name Spoon. It's so.. simple, yet genious.

And that'll be all!!

Need more friends with wings

Hello!

Today hasn't been so good. I'm going to leave it at that.

Today's song will be 'Nothing to Lose' by Billy Talent. I know I've put it here before, but just listen to it. Don't commit suicide, people. Just talk to some one.

Bye!! <33

Monday after weekend

Hello!

I had quite a good weekend last week.

On Friday I went to see Django Unchained, and it was pretty good actually. Lots of blood of course, but also a bit funny at the same time. You did it again, mr Tarantino.

From Saturday to Sunday I went to a friend overnight. We watched Sherlock, played Guitar Hero, and watched a little Dexter. It was really fun! :D

Also I learned how to gif  >:)

(It's Leonardo Dicaprio from Django, if you didn't know. Click it!!!)

But now school has started again, so it's back to studying...

Today's song will be 'Lost Cause' by Imagine Dragons. Because dragons.

But yes, now I should do some homework instead of blogging and giffing...

So, see ya!! <33

Friday, February 1

I'm obviously not good at this...

Wednesday:        I

Hellu!!

I'm sitting in the basement of my danceschool. Testweek is almost over, only two tests left. Good news is that I'm second best in physics this class, bad news is that I almost failed Finnish. I'm going to rewrite that test, but it still felt weird. It's the lowest I've ever had. *nerdpowers gone*

Today has been hell. First I had to wake up at 6 am to get to school. I had my French-test, which I don't know how went. I'm hoping it went good. The food in school wasn't that good, but at least there was good bread. It's a snowstorm outside, and of course today is the only day I had to walk to dance. And I have low battery on my phone, so I can't use it, and it's the source of my internet. So this is written long before it's posted. Plus I should be studying German.

I want to go home.                                 love

Today's song will be 'Pet Sematary' by Plain White T's. It's a cover of the original by Ramones, and this version was featured in Frankenweenie.

                                                        you

Thursday:

Hey!

Heheh, forgot to post yesterday. *fail*

Had to read German. I think it went pretty okay, I just hope I didn't fail.
Last test is tomorrow!!! Wooo!! But it's history, so I should start reading...

Today's song will be 'Underwater' by Mika. Because I love it, okay?

Friday (today):

I don't know what I've been doing lately. I mean, come on, three days I've tried to post here, but forgotten what I was supposed to do. Today I WILL post this. This is getting ridiculous.

TESTWEEK IS OVER!!!! *throws confetti*

I've gotten back most tests, all but history that I wrote today. But I know the score of it, and I'm amazed. I really thought that would go bad.

But that's all in the past (except Finnish that I'll rewrite), so let's move on to the future.

Ummm... I don't have that many plans for the future... So on to the next stop!!

I changed my tumblr theme today. (What? You have a tumblr?) Yes, I have a tumblr. Link is in the box on the side or then you can click here. (Shameless self-promotion.) So follow and all that stuff. (I'm not forcing you, but it would be nice. I might follow back.)

Today's (really today's) song will be 'Falling' by Ben Kweller, because it's beautiful and I love it.

And now I shall continue drink my tea. I might go watch Django Unchained today, if I'm not too tired. I really should take a nap.

But I'm going to stop rambling now, this is getting way too long. So yeah...

A little bit procrastination, a little more action please

Hello.

It's two in the afternoon, and I just woke up. I seem to be home alone. Either they gave up on trying to wake me up, or they thought I would soon get up anyway.

Testweek started yesterday. So I've done one test, and have five left. I think it's weird that they had testweek start on a Friday, now I have to concentrate on five tests this weekend alone, but mostly on the one on Monday, which happen to be Physics. Oh well, I'll get through somehow...

I'm a bad testreader. I procrastinate way too much for my own good. I was supposed to read yesterday, but I only got to four chapters in the book, and after that I just started playing with my tablet. I swear, that thing is cursed. I'll never be productive.

Today's song will be 'Changing' by The Airborne Toxic Event (what a name). I've been listening to this song lately and it's stuck in my head sometimes. Liiiiiiiiink

I think they are home now... Or then it was the cats. No they are home.

But now I should get reading... So I'll see you some other time. I should stop procrastinate on my blog, it's getting ridiculous.

But yeah, BYEE!!! <33

Moses

Hello!

Just a short one before I get guests.

Turns out there is no Lord of the Rings marathon today, one of my friends couldn't come due to illness. But the rest of us will do something else, and probably watch some other movies.

Also, I've been wondering about the plural version of moose, and I've come to the conclusion that many moose are too boring, and instead I shall use many moses, as it sounds more interesting.

Today's song will be 'Locked Out of Heaven', but not Bruno Mars' version, but Mike Thompkins'! I don't really like dubstep, but this is different, because he makes all the sounds himself. So Enjoy!

That's all for today, they should be on their way. One of them just texted me saying she's on her way, so yes.

So have a great Saturday, and think about the moses and Legolas!

BYEE!! <33

(I feel like I should have putted 'Moses' by Coldplay, but I'll do that another day.)

LOTR marathon

Hello!

As the title suggests, I'm having a Lord of the Rings marathon tomorrow (or rather, later today. It's past midnight) with my friends Sara, Pat and Janni. We'll try to see all the movies in a row, but I honsetly don't think we'll make it xD After all it's 9 hours we are talking about.

I wrote an essay today in English, and I got a little carried away, so I almost had 100 words to much. But I shortened it a bit so ot was only 40 words to much, but the teacher accepted it, so I'll be happy with that.

If I really like writing something, I will get carried away, and not realize how long it is. Then again I could have too short text, and that's even worse. I'll never be perfect...

Also testweek starts on Friday, and guess what? I STILL HAVEN'T STARTED STUDYING! Ughh, why do I procrastinate...? It will only lead to misery and pain. (Or bad test results, more likely.)

I'm not going to ramble about this, it's boring and all that, it'll stay in my head until I explode.

I've started watching Supernatural!! I've only watched two episodes, but so far I like it! The mystery is setting in... I need to continue soon.

Today's song will be 'Loserhead' by Cosmonot. I like this song for some reason, it's quite soothing in a way, and it'll get stuck in my head now.

Yeah, I'm into indie these days.

But that'll be all for now, see you!!!!

Chocolate in the library

*sneaks a peak*

Hello!

Sorry that I haven't written in a long time, I've been busy with school (we'll say). Well I have been. Mostly. To an extent.

Testweek is coming up, it's already next week on Friday. It starts with English, which is the subject I need to read the least on, and then the harder subjects are all on the following week, so I'm a bit screwed. I haven't started reading seriously yet. Which is really really bad. I promised I would start earlier, but it hasn't happened yet...

Anyways. Last week I saw Frankenweenie in cinema, and it was really beautiful and amazing and I almost cried in the beginning. But when it was at the climax near the end, the movie suddenly froze and then went black. And we were all confused, that there was something wrong and would they fix it. Then a few moments later, a man came in and turned on the lights and left. And the movie wasn't finished. But just after that a woman came in and asked if it was over - we said no - and then explained that they would try to fix it, and if they couldn't we would get free tickets to a movie, and popcorn. So we sat there and waited for a while, and then the movie was on, but not where it had stopped. So a man came to us and handed out free tickets for movie whenever, and tickets for popcorn and coke. So we watched it to the end, a bit confused as a part was missing, and then left the cinema, with free tickets for another time.

I feel a bit weird writing this. I'm in the library eating chocolate and writing on my tablet, and a girl just came in to the reading room, glanced dirty at me, and took a seat a couple of rows in front of me. More chocolate for me. Also, I need to go to the bathroom, but feel to weird to pack up my stuff just to come back later. It will have to wait.

Click here for a fabulous song.

Today's song will not be the one above, but 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. This is a really good song, I've listened to it alot recently, and the video has the girl who plays Annabeth in Percy Jackson in it. Also I love their name, Imagine Dragons. Imagine Dragons.

Linky winky because app is weird. Will probably edit this later.

That'll be all for today. See you later.

Holidays over soon.... :'(

Hello!

Just a quick one before I go to sleep (soon).

The Christmas holidays are soon over, sadly... I wouldn't mind another week, really. It's gone way too fast for my liking. I've probably been gaining much weight from all the food, but I haven't dare measured it, so I'm not sure...

I've spent much time on the internet and stayed up until 5am... and woken up at 3:30pm, so my dayrythm is off balance... I have to quickly adjust it before school starts again...

Today's song will be 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' by Panic! at the Disco. It's really good, plus Josh suggested it, and he has good taste in music ;)

So that'll be all for tonight, I should start blogging here more often, and maybe a bit longer, but for tonight it will be enough.

Happy New Year!!!!

Hello guys, and happy New Year!! :D

Hope you all had a blast, I know I did! :D But I'm going to have to sleep soon, so it's time for...

*drumroll*

Today's song is 'Kill the DJ' by Green Day. It's a very goood song, I really like it. I love how it so brutal, but still not brutal... *just confused everyone...*

Well, goodnight people!! Have a wonderful 2013!!!

Radioactive

Hello!

Today I was supposed to wake up at 11, but guess what? My dad woke me up at 1pm... Mission failed. But it's okay, I wasn't supposed to do anything important, so I'm fine.

I'm in need of watching Scott Pilgrim vs the World... It came on TV yesterday, but I thought it was Thursday and missed it... Just my luck. I also missed Prestige... Oh, well, they'll come again. And I have Scott Pilgrim on DVD, so I can watch it any time I want >:D

Today's song will be 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. I recently (two days ago) got suggested to listen to Imagine Dragons (love the name by the way) by a nerdfighter in the Our Pants forum. I'm positively surprised by how much I love this song. I'm listening to it right now, so you should too:

That'll be all for today. Have a good continue of your life!!

Christmas is over....

Hello!!

And if you haven't realized it yet, Christmas is over, and left is only the food and feels.

But fret not, it is still some days left of the holidays!!

I got pretty good gifts this year (and yes, I know it isn't the most important about Christmas, but I'm still very excited.). I got:

  • A Sony Walkman (it flashes in beat with the music o.O high-tech)
  • Muse's 2nd Law cd (Wieeee!!)
  • A book about Muse (in Finnish... but I can look at the pictures.)
  • Many plates
  • A couple of cups
  • CHOCOLATE!!
  • a bit of money
  • The Sims 3 games
  • candles
It was a really nice Christmas, I ate a lot, and I really love foood ^^

My day-rhytm is totally screwed, I woke up at 2 pm today, and it's pst midnight now, and it feels like it would be 6 pm. I'm screwed when school starts.

But I can't think of anything else to say now, so I'll just move along to today's song.

Today's song will be 'Good Morning Sunshine' by Alex Day (aka nerimon), because I've been listening to it all day. It's so joyfull and happy... And the video has many youtubers in it ;)

That'll be all for today :) Have a good morning/day/evening/night where-ever you are :)

My Christmas list

Hello!

I now officially have Christmas break!! No school for two weeks!!

Also the Christmas celebration at school was hilarious. A lot of scetches and music was performed, and it was really lovely and funny :)

It's Christmas soon. I have a few presents to wrap, then I'll be done :)

365Nerds is beginning soon. And I'm up on the 14th of January... I'm very nervous, I haven't made a video on my own before, so this'll be interesting.

Today's song will be 'My Christmas List' by Simple Plan, because Christmas and Simple Plan. But it really is good. The lyrics are quite funny actually.

That'll be all for today, BYEE!! <33

P4A and Hipster Santa

Hello!

Christmas is nearing... I have to pack my gifts soon. Was going to do it today, so this will only be a short one.

I'll be performing at our school's Christmas celebration. It will be a lot of Christmas songs mashed in one, with a surprising edge ;) I've been a bit ill for these past couple of days, so I haven't been able to sing so much, but I'm getting better now, hopefully I'll be restored on Friday :)

I've been working on my physics lab-raport a couple of days, and it's finally ready!! (sort of) It's not the best, but I'm happy as long as I'm not failed.

I've been watching the Project for Awesome livestream, featuring John and Hank Green (vlogbrothers), Charlie McDonnell (charlieissocoollike) among others. The livestream is now over, but it was amazing, and they got over 440 000 dollars to give to charlity.

Today's song will be 'Hipster Santa', a musical by AVbyte, that I discovered today. It's quite nice actually, so check it out.

That'll be all :) BYEE!!! <33

Christmas song Masterpost!!

And it's time for another masterpost by this girl... This time the theme is Christmas songs!!

I've always had a soft spot for Christmas and Christmas songs. So I thought I might as well share some of my favorite songs to listen to at Christmas.

Train - Shake Up Christmas

This song was featured in a Coke ad, and it's pretty happy. I really like this song, it makes me happy and giddy and stuff.

Weezer - The Christmas Song

Now this song is more depressive, but I like it too... it is Weezer.

Coldplay - Christmas Lights

This song started playing in a shoestore last week when I was shopping. And it's funny, because I don't think I've heard it in the rado before, only online and at home. But this song is really nice and beautiful and I like Coldplay really much (if you didn't know...)

Futurama

Yes... I like Futurama's X-mas songs, they are really funny and creative. My sister and I always sing this song when we have very much Christmas spirit.

Then this:

The Killers

The Killers usually make a Christmas song every year, and I think I posted Don't Shoot Me Santa earlier. So this is this year's Christmas song by The Killers. It's the same Santa as in DSMS, and I only discovered it today, but I already like it. Here you go; I Feel It In My Bones.

Mika - Let it Snow

This version of Let it Snow is really relaxing, and I really like the guitar in it, and Mika is awesome as ever. (Dedicated to my friend the Patster).

Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out

This song is very ironic. But I still like how happy it seems if you don't listen to the lyrics. But the lyrics are maybe even hateful... O.o But it's still a nice song!

I think that'll be enough Christmas for now...

***

I have nothing to add... I've been making gingerbread?

I made a playlist with some of the songs above and a couple more on 8tracks. You could check it out here.

Otherwise... BYEE!!! <33

Christmas soon

Hello!

Quick one before I go to sleep ;)

Today I went Christmas shopping, and I actually bought presents!! 10 Christmas points to me!! But I'm not going to say what I bought if any of them read this >.> But I also got myself a army-green jumper and a delicious hamburger. Day well spent!!

I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit. School ends on Friday, and then I have a two week holiday. I think I'm spending Christmas at my uncle's with my family and some closer realtives. It'll be fun, I'm sure.

Oh, and yesterday (or rather, the day before that) I bought tickets to Muse's gig in July. So yes, I'm going xD But they are really good, so at least now I know it's worth it!

I also want to see other bands, but haven't found anyone I'd like to go to for a while. Have to roam the internet when I've got money.

Today's (or tonight's) song will be 'We Used to Vacation' by Cold War Kids. It's one of my more indie-styled favorites now. Enjoy!

But I am hopping to bed now, I'll see you some other time ;) Night!! <33

Tuesday, December 11

Muse masterpost!!

Hello!

Yesterday I saw Muse live in Helsinki, and I have to say it was truly amazing! :DD The show was spectacular, and they had lots of different light effects, and elevators bringing up new instruments. Their instruments had lights on them, and some screens were put up in the ceiling, and they were moving. I'm amazed.

They had screens almost everywhere. It was all lit up and wonderful. (also sorry for bad quality, my phone has a bad camera.) This song was Animals.

Example of a instrument with lights. The part of the piano that's pointing up, was see-through. They had a lot of light effects, as I said before. I have to say this was the most spectacular show I've ever seen. This song was Explorers.

The best shot I have from the stage. It was in Hartwall Areena, and even though we had pretty good sitplaces, this is probably the best photo I have. They played Madness here, as you might see from one of the screens. The screen sometimes showed bits of lyrics, so you could sing along without making a fool of yourself ;)

This photo is from the first encore (they are so cool, that they have two). The screens (as seen in above pictures) moved down and formed a pyramid, and the members of the band were under it, and then sometime while The 2nd Law: Isolated System (this exact video) was playing, they went under the stage and re-emerged back on stage after a couple of minutes after it was done (to build the tension).

----> Setlist

Matthew Bellamy broke his foot a short while ago, but you couldn't really see any damage. He walked around like it was nothing, and didn't even say anything about it.

I also got a shirt! Might post it later, if I so choose ;)

This gig was amazing, and I'm still in my concer-high. I want to see them again, they were really good. They are coming again this summer, I might go ;) Anyone who wants to buy me tickets? No? Okay...

******

Today school seemed horrible, I had nine hours again, and I'm really tired now, I should go to sleep soon... But first I should do some homework...

We have a huge amount of snow here, it's just plain awful... I'll trade this snow for some chocolate, so if you are interested, please tell me ;)

I'll see the Hobbit tomorrow with a couple of friends :D It's going to be super!  Trailer:

Today's song are a little bit of everywhere, I've putted a few links, and the setlist has videos from all the songs they played :)

Well that'll be all for today, see you some other time!!! <33

Muse tomorrow

Hello!

Today I made our gingerbread house with help from my mother. It failed a bit, but it looks okay. (Pic on my other blog.)

Yesterday I went shopping. I was going to buy some Christmas gifts, but only got some for my father... Well that plan failed. I got myself a sweater, a top, a t-shirt, two pair of mittens and a pair of winter shoes, so it wasn't just for nothing. I'm also looking for a camera for after Christmas, but I'll see...

Tomorrow I'll see Muse!!!! I'm so excited!! I'm listening to their new album now (which I have yet to buy... feeling less of a fan now...) and it is awesome :D Matthew Bellamy still has his foot broken, but still wants to continue. That is a true man! Sticking up for his fans. Many wouldn't go to theirr regular job with a broken foot, so what he does is amazing. Hope he's not in very much pain...

Because I can't come up with anymore to say...

Today's song will be 'Liquid State' by Muse (Yes, more Muse). It's sung by their bassist, Chris Wolstenholme, and it's about his alcohol-problems... But it's good anyway, so ENJOY!!

See you some other time!! BYEE!!! <333
